Not durable, but does the job

If you have an allergy/sensitivity to nickel, this is the only eyelash curler I've found that is easy to use. The key is to regulate the pressure. If you squeeze too hard, like you would with the metal version, the little plastic arm inside of this curler will break, and it's not fixable. My first one lasted me about 6 months. You really don't need to use the amount of pressure you think you do to get the same results you're used to - it's just a matter of breaking the habit of squeezing way too hard. If you feel like you need extra curling power, you can heat the silicone pad with a hair dryer first.

If this curler were more durable and more reasonably priced, I would probably switch regardless of the metal allergy, but as it is, I'm just stuck with it. This store has the best price I've found anywhere.
